Groupcorner has developed an algorithm that allows you to select the best properties for your group. Groupcorner allows you to book from more than 27,000 accommodations in Europe.
They post their offers to our website and you can manage your entire booking on the site. Up until Check-in, your Groupcorner advisor is available to assist you.

Where are your offices located ?
Our offices are located in South Burgundy, in Cluny.
Why do you have several phone numbers ?
Groupcorner operates in all European countries and offers local telephone numbers so that all its customers can call without additional costs.
Is there a maximum number of people when booking on Groupcorner?
We don't have a maximum. We regularly receive requests for several hundred people. However, few hotels offer such a large capacity, which is why we ask if it's okay to split your group among several hotels.
Is there a minimum number of people required on Groupcorner?
Groupcorner can only take requests for ten rooms or more, or 20 persons for shared rooms.
Will I get cheaper rates by using Groupcorner?
Groupcorner takes competitive bids for your group from the hotels so you get the best group rate available. Groupcorner is free; there is no fee or extra charge and you pay the hotel directly based the price quoted.
What types of accommodation do you contact ?
Groupcorner only contacts professionally managed properties, including traditional hotels, large mansions, castles, lodges, campgrounds, holiday villages, youth hostels and collective and religious accommodation.
We do not work with any villas or large apartments for groups of less than 35 persons.
Do you visit the properties you propose ?
We work with more than 27,000 establishments in Europe and Morocco and we have not visited all of them (although we wish we could!). Groupcorner's philosophy is to offer a very wide choice of accommodation from the most economical to the most luxurious and to give you the elements you need to make an informed choice and obtain the best quality/price ratio.
I am still hesitating between several destinations, is it possible to make a request ?
It is possible to specify several destinations as long as your plans are confirmed and the date(s) are certain. We will contact properties in several different destinations to help you make your choice.
How does my Groupcorner account work?
Our platform lets you keep all messages and offers for your group booking in one place so you don't lose anything... share your password with your team and several persons can help you with the booking.

What is the common pot ?
Create a collection pool and get payments from your group members. This way you don't need to personally advance the deposit money!
Can we book transport ?
Groupcorner works with service providers that offer air, rail and coach rental services. It is therefore possible to book transport at the same time as accommodation.
What is an option ?
When you receive a quote, it's a good idea to ask for an option if you don't confirm immediately. The property agrees to hold the space and prices while you decide. On Groupcorner you can request an option for any date you wish, but be careful since the closer the stay gets, the less likely the property will agreen to hold long options. If necessary, you can always ask the accommodation to extend the option later on.
I can't see my quotes; what do I do?
Your quotes are only visible from your Groupcorner account. When a property makes you an offer, you are notified by email.
You will then need to connect to your Groupcorner space to view it with your login email and password..
Can we contact the accommodation directly ?
When a property makes you an offer, you are in direct contact with the accommodation in your Groupcorner space via a chatroom - simply click on the blue 'details' box.
If you have specific questions you can ask to be called back by the property using a button inside the chatroom. If you book over the phone be sure to confirm ALSO in the chatroom to update your request and notify everyone. This is free of charge.
Can we cancel a reservation ?
The conditions provided to you by the hotel you have selected apply in the event of cancellation or modification.
Once the reservation is made, do we continue to use the Groupcorner or should we email the accommodation directly ?
Once the reservation is made, we advise you to continue using the platform, which will allow you to have a complete history if necessary. Your advisor is of course available if you have any questions.
Is there a charge for your service ?
No fees are charged for the Groupcorner service. We are a business provider and have financial agreements with our partners. You will pay the accommodation directly, not Groupcorner.
How soon will I get quotes ?
We ask our partners to reply within 48 business hours. You will probably receive your first quotes within a few hours. Some criteria may extend the deadlines, for example, requests for very busy periods, a very large number of participants, etc.
Please note that the sales departments in charge of group requests do not usually work on weekends.
How do I book and pay on Groupcorner ?
-You confirm the booking by clicking on the green 'CONFIRM' button.
-Within 48 hours you will receive a proforma invoice and/or a reservation contract with payment instructions in the chatroom with the property.
-You will be alerted by email when a payment is due or if you have a message.
-A pop-up window appears when you open the chatroom with the property and invites you to download your STRIPE secure IBAN.
-You make all the bank transfers related to this booking using this virtual IBAN linked directly to the hotel bank account and you are automatically notified by email when the payment has been received.
Groupcorner Pro service
What are the benefits for agencies ?
The Groupcorner Pro service allows agencies to save considerable time since Groupcorner geolocates and identifies hotels, contacts them and chases them up for quotes or answers to your questions. You get a share in our commission everytime you book!
What is Groupcorner Pro service?
This service rewards the loyalty of agencies. The more they book, the higher the retrocommission.
Will you do a better job than us ?
We do not claim to do better than you, but we assist you throughout the process of your group accommodation search and save you time while allowing you to increase your revenue with a commission retrocession we pay you.
Since the search for group accommodation is our full time business, our team of consultants has an up to date knowledge of the market. We can get you quotes in most cases very quickly and matching your specifications.
We generate more than 4000 requests for group accommodation per month so hotels are more likely to respond positively and quickly to our requests.
When and how can I get my commission back ?
The commission retrocession to the agencies amounts to 25% of our commission for each booking made with an additional 10% bonus if the turnover generated exceeds 120,000 euros. This commission is paid directly to your branch's bank account on a quarterly basis. In addition, a table for tracking invoices and commissions is available on your Groupcorner personal space.
There are several of us within the agency who organize group trips, do we have to create several Groupcorner Pro accounts ?
It is not necessary to create several accounts for a single agency. However, it is possible to create several user accounts under the same agency entity. Indeed, the person who will register first will be the administrator and will have the possibility to invite one or more collaborators who will each have their own interface grouping their own reports and requests on Groupcorner. In addition, all these employees will also benefit from the retrocommission system.

What is your service ?
We find accommodation for groups. Whether it is school trips, business trips or private individuals travelling in groups, we find accommodation that meets their criteria in the area they are looking for.
What are the conditions for working with Groupcorner ?
There are no conditions required. You only need a minimum capacity of 30 people to register.
What are the costs of working with Groupcorner ?
NO membership or operating fees. We are only remunerated at the commission of 10% HT on the turnover HT. Membership and contract totally free of charge, can be cancelled at any time = 0% constraint and 100% benefits.
What are the advantages of being a partner ?

I no longer have any availability while I have made an offer to the customer
If you have an online reservation that no longer allows you to accommodate the group, simply return to the request and click on "I have no availability".
What are your cancellation and modification conditions ?
We have no cancellation or modification conditions. The ones of your hotel apply. You can choose to refuse a modification after the first payment for example, or 1 month before the arrival of the group. It's your choice!
When I make an offer to the customer, does it block my rooms ?
No. When you make an offer to the customer, no options are placed on the rooms until the customer expressly asks you to make an option. If you have an online reservation that no longer allows you to accommodate the group, simply return to the request and click on "I have no availability".
I have warned of my lack of availability for a given period of time but I still receive requests, what should I do ?
Make sure you have updated the availability calendar in your hotel file in your Groupcorner space. This tool allows you to block the dates for which you do not want or cannot receive groups. Don't forget to click on "Save" to validate and update the information!
I ask for a minimum number of nights for groups in general
Fill in the minimum nights required for groups in your availability calendar. Log in to your Groupcorner space, go to your hotel file, "Modify", and scroll to the bottom of the page to go to the availability calendar. Click on "Add an event", a pop-up will appear. Select "with a minimum of nights". Indicate "2" or the minimum number of nights desired. Select the month from the 1st to the 31st then indicate a recurrence: "Monthly".
I ask for a minimum of nights for groups for weekends
Fill in the minimum nights required for groups in your availability calendar. Log in to your Groupcorner space, go to your hotel file, "Modify", and scroll to the bottom of the page to go to the availability calendar. Click on "Add an event", a pop-up will appear. Select "with a minimum of nights". Select from Friday to Sunday for example, to request a minimum of 2 nights on weekends. Finally, tick "yes" to the recurrence and select the type of recurrence: weekly. Validate. And save the changes at the bottom of the page!
We do not wish to receive a certain type of groups
In your hotel profile, you can manage your group preferences. Go to "My establishments", select your hotel and click on "Modify". You will first see filters applicable on the types of groups accepted, and the age groups accepted for school groups and sports teams. Disable filters for groups you do not want to receive. When the filter is deselected, the cursor is on the left and the filter is white. Don't forget to save the changes at the bottom of the page!

I booked with a group but I can't remember their information
Log in to your Groupcorner space, select the "My Quotes" tab and then "Current Quote". Click on the green rectangle on the far right "Booking in progress". Finally click on "View request", you will have access to all the information of the group as well as your conversation history with the customer.
When will I receive the funds in my account ?
You will receive an email when the customer has made a payment reminding you of the amount of the transfer and indicating the estimated time of arrival of the funds on your account. Count between 5 to 7 days from the day of payment.
We would like to refund the 30% deposit to the customer in the event of a cancellation, how does it work ?
You can choose to reimburse the customer for the full amount he or she has paid you. However, please note that Groupcorner charges 10% on everything that has been paid by the customer. In other words, if you want to refund the 30% of the total paid by the customer, Groupcorner will charge a commission on the amount equivalent to the 30%. Example: in the case of a total reservation of 1000€ HT, the customer will pay a deposit of 300€. If you wish to refund the full 300€ to the customer following a cancellation, please note that Groupcorner will charge 10% of the 300€ or 30€.
What is it ?
STRIPE is our online payment partner. Leader in online bank transfers, it allows customers to make their payment through our platform directly to the hotel's bank account.
Why use this payment system ?
- The IBAN Stripe is unique and corresponds to your booking. It is directly linked to the hotel's bank account.
- This system allows everyone to track past and future payments in real time: you, the hosting and the Groupcorner advisor.
- It facilitates the reconciliation of payments because when you pay hotels directly, there are often problems finding which payment corresponds to which reservation.
Why is the IBAN different from the one provided by the hotel ?
The IBAN Stripe is unique and corresponds to your booking. It is directly linked to the hotel's bank account.
Why does IBAN start with DE when I book in another country ?
Stripe's bank is SAXO Bank Deutschland. The IBAN is a European system, so no impact, no additional costs of course!
Why are fees more expensive by credit card ?
The payment method offered by Groupcorner is bank transfer. Groupcorner does not cover bank charges for credit card payments (unlike transfers). These fees depend on your bank.
