Your group stay in Safi
Safi owes its prosperity to its port and industrial centre. Safi therefore does not have the picturesque charm of Essaouira or its other neighbours on the Atlantic coast. On the other hand, it is very practical to organize a group trip. You will therefore find for your group some traditional accommodation but also business hotels that meet Western standards, perfect for groups. Dafi does not have an airport, so to get there, your group will have to choose between the neighbouring airports of Agadir, Essaouira or Casablanca, located between 2 hours and 4 hours by bus.
Safi is not a tourist town. Compared to its neighbours on the Atlantic coast of Morocco, it does not have any sites of interest. However, this has allowed it to remain a city that is quite typical of daily life in Morocco and your group members will appreciate discovering a medina that has managed to stay away from tourist flows and the elegant tree-lined boulevards of its new city. The main tourist attraction of Safi is the potters' hill where craftsmen make the colourful pottery, typical of Safi and its region. If, however, you would like to offer your group a moment to remember during your group trip to Safi, don't miss the opportunity to enjoy shellfish on the beach. Freshly caught and sold for only a few dinars.
