Your group stay in Split
With its Roman remains that still house restaurants and bar terraces, Split is a unique city. This is a good reason to choose to organize your group trip there. Especially since its popularity as a tourist destination has enabled it to acquire a large hotel park with cheap accommodation for groups and elegant seaside hotels. You will have no problem finding a hotel to organize your group stay, whatever your budget and desires. However, the summer season is very busy and you will benefit from better prices in the off-season. Split airport will allow you to fly from many of Europe's major cities. Be careful, however, most of these flights only operate for part of the year.
Your group will be fascinated by Split. Its old town was built around the Diocletian Palace, one of the largest Roman remains still standing. However, unlike the other Roman remains that can be admired in the cities of the Mediterranean basin, this palace is not a museum, but a place to live, a network of narrow streets lined with bars, shops and restaurants where just over 2000 people live. In addition to its colossal dimensions (38,000 m²), your group will be seduced by the refinement of the architecture of this palace and will appreciate to be able to stop between two marble columns to have a drink on the terrace of a café! During your group trip to Split, you will be tempted not to leave Diocletian's palace. However, it would be a pity not to lead your group on the waterfront promenade, one of Split's other assets.
