Le Corbier is an enchanting combination of tradition and modernity, a 100 % ski-in ski-out resort. At one and the same time a village resort, thanks to its situation and warm, friendly atmosphere, and a contemporary resort thanks to its up-to-date equipment and pedestrian access, 'Le Corbier', in Savoie, remains a charming paradox. Ideally situated at the heart of the Sybelles skiing area, le Corbier offers a magnificent view over the « Aiguilles d'Arves” and the “ col de l'Etendard”. - Minimum altitude: 1500 m - Maximum altitude: 2620 m To kick off your week's skiing, start with the 90 kilometres of the resort's skiing area the du Corbier/Saint Jean d'Arves skiing area). 28 ski slopes, of which 9 green, 12 blue, 6 red and 1 black, are directly accessible by means of the 25 ski lifts (ski tows and chairlifts). If you are not satisfied by this skiing area, go to the ‘ Super Domaine de Sybelles', accessible by ski, which is linked to the six local resorts (Le Corbier, Saint Jean d'Arves, La Toussuire, Les Bottières, Saint Sorlin d'Arves and Saint Colomban des Villards). With access to this skiing area you have 310 kilometres of snow available to you, with 96 slopes of which 20 green, 40 blue, 31 red and 5 black, served by 83 ski lifts. Whether a fan of traditional Alpine skiing, telemark, monoski, snowblade or skwal, you are in for hours of descent ! Nordic skiing addicts can easily get to the skiing area of ‘la Touissure' via a Nordic skiing track between the two skiing areas. Further on, going alongside the ‘croix de fer' mountain-pass, cross-country skiers can enjoy the pleasures of Nordic skiing, thanks to the three circuits at a high altitude along with the assurance of magnificent views. Opposite the Ouillon mountain range, the highest Alpine pasture in Europe, you can also give in to the joys of snowboard in the Sybelles snowpark, with a Boarder Cross, and a freestyle zone divided into blue, red and black areas, with hips, boxes , table tops, Walls, pyramids and even big airs. The Residence " Les Alpages du Corbier" , situated at the foot of the slopes, offers an almost immediate access to the ski lifts (50m) and to the nearest Nordic skiing tracks (700m). From the mountain chalet, housing your apartment, it is only 300m to the nearest shops. The residence is very comfortable and offers an outdoor, heated swimming pool, for your relaxation , after skiing, as well as a fee-paying sauna and a fitness room. At your disposal : Outdoor, heated swimming pool (with changing rooms and showers), sauna (with entrance fee), a small fitness room, individual ski lockers, launderette (with charge), free outdoor car parks, at the entrance of the resort and fee-paying indoor car park (with limited number of places, reservation recommended) Ski hire shop in the residence The residence is made up of three chalets - a main chalet consisting of 11 apartments, the heated swimming pool, fitness area, bar, restaurant and ski shop and two other chalets, each containing 33 apartments. The apartments, ranging from the studio for 2 pers to the 4-roomed apartment for 8 pers, are all fully equipped: kitchenette (vitroceramic hotplate, micro-wave and dishwasher), bathroom or shower, generally a separate toilet, television, at extra cost, and generally a balcony. Fourteen 2-roomed apartments for 4 or 4/5 pers are equipped for persons of reduced mobility (situated in the main chalet)
