Two quirky hostels in Edinburgh town centre, Kick Ass Grassmarket is located at 2 West Port, EH1 1JA and Kick Ass Greyfriars is at 37-39 Cowgate, EH1 1JR. They are minutes apart and guests staying at either hostel can enjoy access to both hostels' facilities. Great location with fabulous Castle Views from Kick Ass Grassmarket and partial views from Greyfriars, within a short walk from all major attractions. Secure key card entry, the hostels are resident only for maximum security. Both locations feature a full service bar with excellent affordable food and drink options. We can handle up to 50 guests per hostel, groups of over 50 are welcome to stay too, the group will be split between the two buildings.

USEFUL INFORMATION (VALID FOR BOTH HOSTELS)

- Reception is open 24h.

- Check-in is from 2pm. Check-out by 10am.

- There is no lift (elevator) in the building, please be prepared to climb stairs.

- We have secure luggage storage lockers available on a first-come-first-served basis. Storage is free before check-in and costs £1.00 per locker after check-out. During your stay valuables can be stored in lockers within the dorms.

- Towels can be rented from reception at £2.00 (plus £3.00 deposit refundable upon return).

- Linen is provided free of charge.

- All accommodation has shared toilet and shower facilities per floor. Note most of the facilities are mixed gender but we have female-only shower rooms too.

- All private rooms and shared dorms feature bunk beds.

- Each dorm bed comes with a power socket, a USB plug, reading light, small shelf, hook & locker (you will need your own padlock, or one can be purchased from reception at £4.00).

- Each POD bed comes with a privacy curtain, headboard, mood lighting, reading light, power socket & USB plug, shelf, hooks and combination lock locker (no padlock required).
