YHA Ironbridge Coalbrookdale is ideally located within the Ironbridge
Gorge World Heritage Site, home to 10 family friendly museums, littered
with industrial archaeology and brimming with tea rooms, pubs and
eateries. It is a converted iconic grade 2 listed building, built by the
Coalbrookdale Company. Walk to the hands-on science attraction
Enginuity and visit the Blast Furnace where Abraham Darby’s new method
of smelting iron sparked the Industrial Revolution. The building is just
one mile’s walk to the Iron Bridge.
Meals
The kitchen is very well equipped to cater
for large groups of people. The open plan kitchen looks out onto the
dining room, which means you can still socialise whilst you cook!
Kitchen facilities include two large gas ranges (6 hobs and one large
oven each), a microwave, toaster, a water boiler, kettles, fridges and
freezer and a good range of kitchen utensils, baking trays, crockery and
cutlery sufficient for 52 people. Tea towels, cloths, black bin bags,
recycling bags and washing up liquid are provided. Catering Options are

In the 74 bed option, beds are
arranged as: 15 en-suite rooms, 2 bedrooms with showers, 4 toilets 2
showers, 19 x showers, 19 x toilets. In the 52 bed option, beds are
arranged as: 13 en-suite bedrooms, 2 bedrooms with showers, 4 toilets, 2
showers, 17 x showers, and 17 x toilets.
