Frankenstein has nothing on this place! Safestay Barcelona Gothic is a hip hostel in the oldest part of Barcelona. We transport you back to medieval times though Barri Gòtic’s famous narrow streets; where no two streets are the same, and classic neo-gothic architecture. This part of the city really has a bohemian atmosphere and there a real hipster feel. You may even catch Gonzalo our cool General Manager on his Harley Davidson outside! The Gothic Quarter is filled with narrow medieval streets, tiny plazas, trendy bars, clubs, tapas restaurants and unforgettable corners. Take a walk to Gothic Cathedral or head through the famous Arc de Triomf archway which leads into the Ciutadella Park, try the street-food vendors along avenue La Rambla or visit The Plaça del Pi near the Gothic church for a weekend art market. This quirky and hip neighbourhood leaves an impression on everyone who visits. The hostel has an expansive open lounge that is perfectly set-up for inviting conversations and meeting other travellers. We organise walking tours, bar crawls, paella nights, live music and meetups along with our two other hostels, Passeig de Gràcia and Sea.
